We invite scientists to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference

«PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF THE METALLURGICAL INDUSTRY: THEORY AND PRACTICE»,

dedicated to the 40th founding anniversary of the “Metallurgy” department,

which will take place on May 31, 2023 in Pavlodar, Republic of Kazakhstan

The conference will be attended by representatives of leading Kazakh and foreign technical universities, research institutes, metallurgical enterprises. The conference is dedicated to topical issues of the metallurgical industry and modern science. It is planned to discuss topical issues devoted to various aspects of scientific foundations, modern technologies for the production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, metallurgical processes and recycling.

Within the framework of the conference, the work of a plenary session and scientific sections is proposed to discuss topical issues in the following areas:

Plenary session: Problems and prospects of the metallurgical industry of Kazakhstan

Section 1: Scientific foundations and technologies for the production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, metallurgical processes and recycling

Section 2: Modern technologies in engineering

As a result of the conference, a conference proceedings in electronic format (PDF) will be published, and electronic certificates will be issued to conference participants.

Paper submission deadline: May 19, 2023 inclusive ONLY on the website www.sci-conf.tou.edu.kz.

Papers sent AFTER DEADLINE and sent by E-MAILWILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

Venue: NJSC "Toraighyrov University", Pavlodar, Lomov st., 64, MEB.

Format: offline/online.

Program of the conference:

• 09:00 – participants registration;
• 10:00 – plenary session (auditorium A-5);
• 10:00 – breakout session (auditorium B-119, B-building, 139 Acad. Sh. Shokin Street).

PAPER REQUIREMENTS

1. Working languages of the conference: Kazakh, Russian, English.
2. The cost of publishing 1 (one) paper is 3 000 TENGE (electronic book). Payment is made ONLY AFTER the paper HAS BEEN ACCEPTED by the responsible secretary. If the paper is rejected, the FUNDS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. Learn more about Paper publication fee on www.sci-conf.tou.edu.kz.
3. The text should not exceed 3 to 5 pages in Times New Roman 12 pt, A4 format. You can learn more about the Paper format requirements and Paper format example in the "Authors" section on www.sci-conf.tou.edu.kz
4. The originality of the paper should be at least 60%. Plagiarism check can be carried out via www.antiplagiat.ru, www.exactus.ru or any other free services. The certificate of passing the plagiarism check is accepted in JPG formats (screenshot) or PDF, it should clearly reflect the title of the article/author. Certificates that do not meet the requirements will be rejected.
5. The number of papers by the same author(s) is unlimited.
6. In one paper – no more than five authors.
7. The paper must be original, relevant, have scientific novelty, validity of assumptions, and follow the section theme, rules of spelling, punctuation and paper format requirements.
8. The responsible secretary has the right to return for revision or reject materials that do not follow paper format requirements, the section theme.
